{"id":1998,"date":"2024-12-25T18:30:23","date_gmt":"2024-12-25T17:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/foodstory.es\/?p=1998"},"modified":"2024-12-25T19:12:40","modified_gmt":"2024-12-25T18:12:40","slug":"stuffed-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foodstory.es\/en\/stuffed-bread\/","title":{"rendered":"Stuffed Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a><em> <\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la celebraci\u00f3n de la edici\u00f3n n\u00famero 25 de la EFSS ( European Food Service&nbsp; Summit) , celebrada en Amsterdam ( octubre 2024) y que reuni\u00f3 a las principales empresas europeas de restauraci\u00f3n de marca, Katrin Wissmann, Executive&nbsp; Editor de la European Foodservice Media, entidad organizadora de tan importante evento internacional* , present\u00f3 los resultados de un trabajo ,sobre el ranking de cadenas de restaurantes en Europa denominado TOP111,&nbsp; identificando que, el principal producto que serv\u00edan algunas de ellas, ten\u00eda como base una masa panaria , normalmente horneada&nbsp; y un relleno tan&nbsp; variable, seg\u00fan pa\u00edses y conceptos, que no le permit\u00eda clasificarlos en la tradicional &nbsp;modalidad de sandwichs o bocadillos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para este grupo de empresas y&nbsp; productos cre\u00f3&nbsp; una nueva categor\u00eda &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;que los englobara y que denomin\u00f3 : <a><em>Stuffed Bread<\/em>; <\/a>para lo&nbsp; cual , ante los asistentes al evento argument\u00f3:\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><em>This is a category I created when I looked at the results of the Top 111 ranking. There were so many concepts from different countries that did not fit with any of the existing categories.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>They are not burgers nor traditional sandwiches; however, they all have in common that they have a <\/em><em>base made of dough (= bread) and they are stuffed with various fillings.
