Por el momento el servicio\u00a0se ofrecer\u00e1 en locales elegidos en los estados de\u00a0\u00a0Pensilvania, Colorado e Illinois en junio, y se expandir\u00e1 al resto de los\u00a050 estados en agosto, all\u00ed donde Grubhub ofrezca\u00a0\u00a0infraestructura de apoyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab<em>La demanda de los clientes para recibir los servicios de Starbucks contin\u00faa aumentando, como lo demuestra el crecimiento de dos d\u00edgitos en el negocio de food delivery en Estados Unidos el \u00faltimo trimestre; eso supone\u00a0\u00a0que nuestros clientes contin\u00faan queriendo comodidad en su vida cotidiana\u00bb<\/em>, dijo Meg Mathes, rectora de lo\u00a0\u00a0digital\u00a0\u00a0en\u00a0\u00a0Starbucks. <em>\u00abNuestra nueva asociaci\u00f3n con Grubhub ayudar\u00e1 a impulsar este crecimiento al aumentar la disponibilidad de los productos de Starbucks para las decenas de millones de clientes de Grubhub, a trav\u00e9s de una plataforma l\u00edder en\u00a0\u00a0delivery\u201d .<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Grubhub, Starbucks es marca muy buscada en las apps con servicio de delivery, pero\u00a0su aplicaci\u00f3n\u00a0a\u00fan no estaba disponible. Si bien la compa\u00f1\u00eda comenz\u00f3 t\u00edmidamente a trav\u00e9s de Uber Eats\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrn.com\/quick-service\/starbucks-launches-uber-eats-delivery-100-florida-stores\">en mercados seleccionados en 2018<\/a>, sus entregas no estuvieron\u00a0\u00a0disponibles a nivel nacional hasta 2020. Despues, Starbucks comenz\u00f3 a ofrecer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrn.com\/news\/starbucks-partnership-doordash-expanded-nationally\">entregas con DoorDash<\/a>\u00a0 pero la cobertura, a nivel nacional, no lleg\u00f3 hasta marzo de 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grubhub, filial de Just Eat Takeaway,\u00a0\u00a0pese a que en 2019 era usada por casi 20 millones de personas, para acceder a 115.000 restaurantes en 3.200 ciudades de toda la Union, es\u00a0una plataforma con share muy inferior (8%)\u00a0\u00a0en comparaci\u00f3n con el 67% de DoorDash y el 23% de Uber\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/secondmeasure.com\/datapoints\/food-delivery-services-grubhub-uber-eats-doordash-postmates\/\">Eats , \u00a0seg\u00fan Bloomberg Second Measure.<\/a>\u00a0Pero Starbucks considera que su praxis encaja mejor que con la de sus competidores.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el CEO&nbsp;&nbsp;de Starbucks, Laxman Narasimhan, el negocio de delivery&nbsp;&nbsp;ha crecido un 80% a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o, atribuible a la asociaci\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda con DoorDash.
