Starbucks tiene actualmente unas 16.500 unidades en Estados Unidos y emplea a unas 228.000 personas en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El SWU (Service Workers United) destac\u00f3 los esfuerzos del sindicato de empresa, hasta la fecha para s\u00f3lo 3 a\u00f1os de movilizaci\u00f3n. Caracteriz\u00f3 la tasa de reclutamiento durante el \u00faltimo semestre como \u00absin precedentes\u00bb, contrarrestando los frecuentes comentarios sobre que\u00a0el ritmo parec\u00eda haberse desacelerado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El SWU subray\u00f3 sus logros sin acusar a Starbucks de tratar de obstaculizar la labor del sindicato y negar a los miembros sus derechos, como hizo en el pasado. M\u00e1s bien, sugiri\u00f3 que la empresa ahora est\u00e1 negociando de buena fe sobre un acuerdo laboral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las partes vienen reuni\u00e9ndose una vez al mes desde abril, y se espera que las negociaciones produzcan una especie de acuerdo-piloto para el contrato laboral de cada local sindicalizado.
