A lo mejor es m\u00e1s que un padrino, pero, lo cierto es que, la culinaria espa\u00f1ola en la capital del mundo, ha adquirido rango de ejemplar, gracias a este extreme\u00f1o, de Talav\u00e1n, que haciendo un curso de cocina en Sevilla, mientras esperaba puesto de odont\u00f3logo, cambi\u00f3 la forma de\u00a0trabajar con\u00a0los dientes de los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras r\u00e1pido aprendizaje en Madrid, con Julio Reoyo en El Chapin de la Reina, se aventur\u00f3 con 28 a\u00f1os a viajar a Londres, aprendiendo y\u00a0experimentando\u00a0en los restaurantes\u00a0Gaudi y Eyre Brothers\u00a0e iniciarse, como empresario, en compa\u00f1\u00eda de Monika Linton de Brindisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Mayo de 2011 decide abrir su propio local, un tapas bar con el nombre de <strong>Jos\u00e9<\/strong>, en Bermondsay Street, al que seguir\u00e1 en la misma calle, <strong>Pizarro<\/strong>, un restaurante con servicio en mesa. En Broadgate Circle abrir\u00e1 su tercer establecimiento con el nombre de <strong>Jose Pizarro<\/strong>, logrando superar los 3.000 clientes por semana, con ese tr\u00edo de locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despu\u00e9s llegar\u00e1 la aventura local: quedarse con el pub que regentaba Claudi Bosi en Esher (a 1 hora de Londres) y hacerse con una clientela que rinde culto no s\u00f3lo a las tapas que ofrece, sino tambi\u00e9n a sus versiones de fish&amp;chip o el Sunday Rost, un plato para los domingos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ya con la velocidad de crucero, se consagra en la Royal Academy of Arts al aliarse con su divisi\u00f3n de restauraci\u00f3n y abrir <strong>Jose Pizarro<\/strong> y <strong>Poster by Jose<\/strong> en tan cultural lugar; tambi\u00e9n con su\u00a0\u00a0pop up (<strong>Little Jose<\/strong> en Giant Robot de Canary Wharf) y su aparici\u00f3n en Abu Dhabi en los salones del Hilton, con <strong>Jose By Pizarro<\/strong>, en las Eithad Towers, as\u00ed como\u00a0\u00a0los cruceristas de\u00a0\u00a0las naves de P&amp;O, que\u00a0\u00a0tambi\u00e9n pueden disfrutar de los platos de Pizarro, como los que en Zahara de los Atunes reservan en resort conocido como Iris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todo ello con el pulm\u00f3n financiero de su aliado en nuevos proyectos, Ken Sanker, al que define como la tercera persona m\u00e1s influyente en su carrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bares y restaurantes con el sello de alimentos y bebidas from Spain, que han logrado que los brit\u00e1nicos, finalmente, sepan de la calidad y riqueza culinaria que existe en Espa\u00f1a, cuyo gobierno le ha otorgado, en enero pasado, la Cruz de Isabel La Cat\u00f3lica, primer chef en lograrla, por la labor realizada en los \u00faltimos 25 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emplear a m\u00e1s de 120 personas, en su mayor\u00eda espa\u00f1olas o facturar por encima de los 10 millones de euros, no le ha impedido escribir libros y participar en RRSS. Como tampoco en pensar en abrir un nuevo local. Esta vez con el nombre de <strong>Lolo<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n en Bermondsay Street, el apodo de su segundo nombre: Manuel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All\u00ed donde dar\u00e1 respuesta a la demanda de una poblaci\u00f3n que ya se olvid\u00f3 de la hora de comer; por lo que servir\u00e1 desde desayunos a cenas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hay quien dice que es el padrino de la cocina espa\u00f1ola en Londres.
